Adewale Giwa, senior pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, cautioned clerics against utilizing social media patterns and frenzies to decide who to help in the 2023 presidential election.
Giwa encouraged religious leaders backing Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi to fundamentally evaluate what is happening as opposed to depending on his social media popularity.
The Pastor said Wednesday that voting for Obi is a waste of votes and that the LP candidate will possibly win assuming PDP governors support him.
“Let me encourage the few religious leaders pushing for Mr. Peter Obi due to his popularity on social media to analyse the political scenario in Nigeria before heading to the wrong candidate.
“Don’t be deceived by Peter Obi’s social media fame.” He can only become president if PDP governors support him. If not, his vote is wasted.

“He knows he can’t win 2023. Obi is worse than Buhari if elected.”
The popular priest voiced dismay that none of the three leader candidates had examined changing the 1999 constitution.
According to him, a national conference should be held to change the constitution, not an election.
Atiku needs to advance his political allies, while Tinubu plans to persecute Nigerians with his wife, children, and Fulani family. He wants that position, so he’s applying.
