EPL: Conte set to sign Nigerian defender for Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with sign Italy-born Nigerian defender, Destiny Udogie, from Udinese this summer.

The 19-year-old rose to prominence last season after a great introduction season with the Serie A side.

Udogie scored five goals and gave three aids 35 league appearances for Udinese, flaunting his abilities both offensively and defensively.

According to Sky Sports, Spurs are chipping away at an arrangement to land Udogie and would consent to pay Udinese around €25m, including additional items, for him.

However, Antonio Conte is likewise able to leave the full back in Italy for another season, to permit him to proceed with his improvement Italy’s first class.

Udogie is contracted to Udinese until 2026.
