The Vice Presidential Candidate of Labor Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed has exposed claims that the Presidential Candidate of the Party, Peter Gregory Obi is in support of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).
Datti Baba-Ahmed who was interviewed by Daily Trust said he strongly disagrees that Peter Obi is in support of IPOB and its activities, and that if he was, he could never have consented to work with him as his running mate.
Datti Baba-Ahmed said such allegations are unverified and that certain people derive joy in spreading fake news.
Speaking on what the spread of fake news meant for him, Baba-Ahmed said he had to do a press conference after he saw a wide range of unverified allegations against him and Peter Obi.
He said before he accepted to be Peter Obi’s running mate, he did all the investigation he could and figured out that the former Governor of Anambra State has no connection with IPOB.
