Osun State Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 16 gubernatorial election, Adegboyega Oyetola, has submitted his petition at the Election Petition Tribunal in Osogbo.
Oyetola, who was joined by his wife, Kafayat Oyetola and the State Party Chairman, Gboyega Famodun, stormed the premises of the Osun State High court on Friday to present the petitions.
Oyetola is challenging the triumph of Senator Ademola Adeleke and he likewise dragged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the tribunal.
INEC had announced Senator Ademola Adeleke as the winner of the gubernatorial election and governor-elect of the state, yet the governor had since promised to challenge Adeleke’s triumph at the tribunal.
