A former aide of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has expressed that members of President Muhammadu Buhari’s family are leaving the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He spoke in reaction to the defection of the lawmaker representing Daura/Sandamu/Maiadua Federal Constituency in Katsina State, Fatuhu Muhammed, to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
INFOXCLUSIVE recalls that Fatuhu Muhammed had before lost his bid to get back to the National Assembly through the APC.
The lawmaker, who is President Buhari’s nephew, announced his defection to the PDP on Sunday.
Reacting, Omokri stated: “This is Fatuhu Muhammed. He is Muhammadu Buhari’s nephew. His father was Buhari’s older brother, from the same father and mother.
“He represents Katsina at the House of Representatives. He just joined the PDP. He is now Atikulated.
“Even Buhari’s family is abandoning the BAT. Whoever says Atiku won’t win in 2023 is lying to you!”
