At least one person has been affirmed dead following an attack on a building used used by the Russian occupiers in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson.
As per Russian news agencies, the attack was done by Ukrainian forces who fired five rockets into the building on Friday.
Yekaterina Gubareva, the Russian-installed deputy head of the regional administration, let journalists know that the strikes happened during a meeting of senior authorities.
Kherson is the only Ukrainian provincial capital that Russian soldiers had reliably held since the attack started on Feb. 24.
Ukrainian military forces are targeting recapturing the city on the Dnipro river, which recently housed exactly 300,000 individuals before the war, by the end of the year. (dpa/NAN)
