A kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, otherwise called Evans, and his co-defendant, Victor Aduba, were on Monday condemned to 21 years imprisonment.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Special Offences Court in Lagos State issued the judgment.
The two convicts were accused for conspiring and kidnapping Sylvanus Ahanonu Hafia on June 23, 2014, at Kara Road, Amuwo Odofin in Lagos.
They were alleged to have caught and kept Hafia and requested a ransom of $2m.
