The National Industrial Court has ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), to cancel the continuous strike.
INFOXCLSIVE reports that the industrial action has gone on for a very long time.
The Court invoked section 18 of the Trade Dispute Act and national interest of the Nigerian students to concede the solicitation of the Federal Government for an order of directive against the teachers.
Justice Polycap Hamman gave the order for suspension of the strike while administering in an application filed by the Federal Government asking that the University teachers be constrained to return to work pending the resolution of their requests for better working circumstances.
