APC Chieftain cum business Mogul, Comrade Marcelo Anyigor, the mogul, has praised the calculated actions taken by Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the governor of Ebonyi State, to enable youths of the state to create jobs and become self-sufficient through deliberate empowerment initiatives.
On the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Anyigor, who aspires to represent the people of the Ebonyi South Senatorial zone in the Senate, stated that the start of the state government’s financial empowerment program for 500 Ebonyians—aimed at removing them from street hawking and other small odd jobs—is a positive step.
He emphasized that Ebonyi State will quickly advance into prosperity with the government’s current empowerment initiatives and other human capital development programs.
Comrade Marcelo Anyigor urged a persistent push in that direction, stating that individuals with power must be closely watched over in order for them to make meaningful use of the money.
According to the Ebonyi South senatorial candidate, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) are the foundation of any economy, hence the state will benefit from this influx of people into the SME sector in terms of internally generated revenue.
The senatorial candidate from Ebonyi South urged all political figures and interested parties to unite behind Governor Nwifuru in order to support him in realizing his blueprint for the people’s charter of needs. He stated that the governor’s continued efforts to industrialize the state, his dedication to the health sector and the hiring of health workers, education, the reticulation of the abandoned Ezillo water treatment plant, the revival of the pipe productive plant, the payment of accumulated gratuities of retired state civil servants, investments being drawn to the state, to name a few, demonstrate his readiness for office and his concern for the welfare of the people. Finally, the senator emphasized that the state will soon enjoy a boom in its economy.
